What is Smart Repair?

Smart Dent Insurance provides a small body repair system that will keep your vehicle in showroom condition without compromising your no claims bonus and will ensure your vehicle remains in perfect condition – free from chips, minor dents, light scratches and scuffs.

With Smart Dent Insurance your vehicle is covered for damage caused by everyday motoring. You can claim up to £3,000 in total.

What type of damage is covered?

Minor Repair Damage means chips, minor dents and light scratches caused by day-to-day motoring, falling within the parameters of the template.

Minor Dent means damage to a metal body panel not exceeding 15 (fifteen) cm in diameter and where such panel has not been ripped, perforated or torn.

Chip means damage to the painted vehicle not exceeding 1.5 (one and a half) mm in diameter.

Light Scratch means damage to the vehicle body panel not exceeding 15 (fifteen) cm in length and not extended over more than 2 (two) adjacent body panels.

Eligibility

You are eligible for this cover if:

• The invoice price/current market value of the insured vehicle does not exceed £75,000.
• The insured vehicle is up to 5 years old at inception of the policy.
• The insured vehicle has covered less than 100,000 miles at inception of the policy.
