Tyre Insurance will protect your tyres in the event of sustaining damage to any of the tyres fitted to the vehicle at the inception of the cover, either accidental or malicious.

The cover includes the cost of replacement or repair, including valve and balance as long as the tyre tread is above 2mm at the time of the claim.

What is covered

• If your tyre is repaired following accidental or malicious damage we will pay the usual and reasonable costs of repair, and if necessary the replacement cost of the valve.
• If the tyre cannot be repaired we will replace it with a new tyre of the same or similar make and specification. We will pay the cost of replacing it including where necessary the valve and wheel balancing.
• We will pay up to 5 claims, any tyre, during the policy term.
• The total amount we will pay to repair and/or replace each tyre under this Policy shall be limited to the original price of the tyre or the current manufacturer’s price of a new tyre of the same or similar make and specification, and shall not exceed £250 or the maximum claim limit detailed in your schedule.

Eligibility

You are eligible for this cover if:

• Your vehicle is less than 7 years old and has less than 75,000 recorded miles at inception of the policy
• Your vehicle is less than 3500Kg in weight
• Your tyres are “E” marked.
