Valentino Rossi x BMW M – A Legendary Collaboration.

BMW M has once again pushed the limits of exclusivity and performance, this time in collaboration with one of motorsport’s most iconic figures – Valentino Rossi. To celebrate the nine-time world champion’s 46th birthday, BMW M has introduced the BMW M4 CS Edition VR46. Limited to just 46 units, this high-performance machine is a tribute to Rossi’s legacy, blending elite engineering with a personal touch from “The Doctor” himself.

Every aspect of the BMW M4 CS Edition VR46 has been meticulously designed for the ultimate driving experience. Featuring Sport and Style variants, the car showcases exclusive design elements, including Rossi’s trademark #46, carbon-fibre accents, and bespoke detailing that embodies the boldness of the motorsport legend.

Beyond aesthetics, the M4 CS Edition VR46 boasts finely tuned chassis technology, precision-engineered to complement the vehicle’s weight distribution and power output. The unique axle kinematics, wheel camber settings, dampers, and anti-roll bars all work in harmony to deliver exceptional steering precision and cornering agility. Enhanced adaptive M suspension, an M Servotronic steering system, and an integrated braking system complete the package, ensuring a drive that’s as sharp as it is exhilarating.

46 – More than Just a Number.

For Valentino Rossi, #46 is more than just a number—it’s a legacy. Inspired by his father Graziano Rossi, who raced with the same number, Valentino has carried it throughout his illustrious career, refusing to swap it even when he became world champion.

Rossi’s rise to motorsport royalty began with his first world title in the 125cc class in 1997, followed by another in 250cc in 1999. His dominance continued as he conquered the 500cc class in 2001, before transitioning into MotoGP, where he secured multiple world championships between 2002 and 2009. With an astonishing 115 Grand Prix victories and a reputation as a global motorsport icon, Rossi’s influence extends far beyond the racetrack—his hometown of Tavullia even adjusted its speed limit to 46 km/h in his honour

Each buyer is invited to a two-day experience in Italy, beginning with a visit to the VR46 Motor Ranch in Tavullia, where they’ll meet Valentino Rossi himself over a relaxed barbecue and motorsport discussions. The experience continues with a BMW M Driving Experience at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, the very track where Rossi has secured multiple GT World Challenge victories in a BMW M4 GT3.

Six-cylinder in-line engine.

The BMW M4 CS Edition VR46 packs a 3.0L inline-six with M TwinPower Turbo tech, delivering 550 hp and a 0–100 km/h time of 3.4 seconds. An eight-speed M Steptronic transmission, M xDrive AWD, and an Active M Differential ensure optimal traction and handling.

With a top speed of 302 km/h, track-ready engine mounts, and advanced cooling, it’s built for high-performance driving. A titanium rear silencer and dual-branch exhaust system produce an exhilarating sound, completing the ultimate motorsport experience.

Exclusive BMW Individual paint finishes.

The BMW M4 CS Edition VR46 blends performance with bold design, inspired by Valentino Rossi. Available in two variants—Sport and Style—it features exclusive BMW Individual paint finishes.

The Sport version comes in Marina Bay Blue metallic with a Tanzanite Blue "46," while the Style variant sports Frozen Tanzanite Blue with a Frozen Marina Bay Blue "46." Both showcase exposed carbon-fibre elements, including a hand-painted CFRP roof with Rossi’s VR46 logo.

Yellow accents highlight Rossi’s signature style, appearing on the grille, wheels, brake calipers, and door frames. Inside, Night Blue tones dominate, with Merino leather M Carbon bucket seats, VR46 logos, and yellow stitching. A numbered "1/46" badge cements its exclusivity.

Model-specific tuning.

The BMW M4 CS Edition VR46 features model-specific chassis tuning for exceptional handling and control. Optimised suspension, bespoke wheel camber, and refined dampers enhance stability, precision, and responsiveness.

Adaptive M suspension, calibrated M Servotronic steering, and an integrated braking system ensure sharp handling and a dynamic driving experience. Developed with Valentino Rossi, this limited edition blends motorsport heritage with precision engineering and exclusive style.
