Efficient service. Perhaps a little expensive for what is essentially basic scheduled maintenance.
Usually very courteous and helpful. However as with every other garage I've ever used, I wish staff would return calls when promised, or notify me when my vehicle is ready to be collected. In general though one of the better of many I've tried.
Everything on time
The service was completed on time.
Service team and reception staff were efficient and good. Sadly not the same can be said for the sales team. I had an enquiry in regards the purchase of an i3 and was advised that someone would come and speak with me, take me for a test drive etc.
I was not happy when I asked about collect and delivery and we were asked for £15. Which I thought was unacceptable, I could not see the point of the video.
They noticed an issue with my servicing and rectified it

After receiving a telephone call to say the car was ready for collection, on arrival to pick the car up I had to wait a good thirty minutes for someone from service to come and see me and then they gave me the invoice for payment and car keys. Bad.

Hand over was poor. Getting DVla letters for tax for old car. Car has been back in garage twice since it was purchases 4 weeks ago.
Not satisfied as I was with my old 4 series . Always get a like to like car doesn't need to be required . I was given a Mini Cooper that was manual when I drive an automatic car . Room for improvement
The same fault has now been re booked in 18th November

Very efficient. Car was booked in for service within a week of requesting. Greeted in reception and as promised car service complete and car washed within 2 hours.

From initial "Meet and Greet" at Reception through to leaving the showroom the BMW staff I came in to contact with were excellent with their customer focused service. In particular the Maintenance Manager Karl Goodyear, was excellent & very attentive

The whole experience was very good. My car passed it's MOT test and I was delighted on collection that it had been cleaned.
The sales staff were very good and I have no complaints. I did have issue with a recall that was not handled to my satisfaction although it should be noted that once raised the issue, the service manager (Mark Huggins) stepped in and was outstanding.
Easy fast service
Everything done I have just one problem since the car came back and that's is that the passenger door isn't opening automatically. I am sure something has been switched and I need to ring them
I was told two different stories over a warranty issue
The activity went without issues.
Service dates not correct but told to go back to Park Lane, 300 mile trip! When it was reset, the dates still did not match neither the date of first registration or pre delivery checks and no explanation given.
Helped get the device done quickly as I had to leave for an appointment and staff very helpful.
Ready on time and a nicely cleaned car to drive home in!
Did everything asked of them
As part of the Warranty Check you've clearly changed the tyre pressures. You didn't tell me this, and explains why the car has been handling very differently in the intervening period (just checked them today).

The simple difference with Sandal is that they are very customer focused, they get to know the needs and wants of each individual customer, that results in a tailor made service to ensure repeat business time and time again.

50 minutes wait to collect the car. I was told that was going to be ready by 12:00, I called at 13:55 for the collection and I did wait the above mentioned time. This is unacceptable. Not impressed.
Have taken car in on 4 separate occasions for same issue.
They are always very accommodating and friendly. I had a bad experience at BMW in Leeds and now travel specifically to Huddersfield as they are so friendly and helpful.
Per above, on this occasion I had to return for the service light to be reset - its a minor thing but the attention to detail should be there to make sure this kind of thing does not happen.
Clear and concise information throughout
Car was serviced and valeted as agreed but was not ready at the promised time. I was informed of a software update at time of booking but not warned that this would erase all personal settings from my car including saved destinations in the sat nav
Problem solved in a short time and my car was cleaned and washed afterwards which saved me a job Also the problem was explained to me afterwards and any questions I had were answered
After a run of very poor service experiences at least this one went mostly to plan. Glad I declined the advised £185 new tyre as it proved to be a minute screw that hadn't even punctured, though in fairness they said they hadn't tried removing it.
I was happy with the staff member who dealt with me.. however the rattle is still there, but I understand that they believed it fixed as a screw was loose in the dash speaker. I'm happy the exhaust was replaced, but I've noticed two marks on it since

Sandal Huddersfield is not my local dealer but when I had a recent problem with my car, at the end of its warranty, and which need fairly urgent attention, there service and response was absolutely first rate.
Process of purchasing smooth and seamless.

Having been in for a knocking noise and indicator issue the new light took over a week to arrive and the car would not be released until this arrived.
Their customer service from start to finish was simply superb! They are quite clearly trained to a high standard in delivering the highest level of CS.

I enjoyed the face to face experience and the staff were all pleasant but he communication was truly appalling . Phone calls were NEVER returned in line with expectation.
