Thanks to his arrangement, we were treated to a truly special dining experience by Lucca Pizza Company, a mobile pizza van that brought the irresistible charm of wood-fired cooking to Croft Circuit.
From the moment the oven was fired up, the air was filled with the aroma of freshly baked dough and melted cheese. The menu offered something for everyone - from the classic crowd-pleasing pepperoni to more adventurous flavours like chilli honey and chorizo. Each pizza was a perfect balance of flavour and texture, showcasing just how satisfying simple, quality ingredients can be.
Lucca Pizza Company takes pride in crafting pizzas the traditional way. Their dough is made using only the finest 00 flour, yeast, sea salt, and water, then allowed to rest and rise for 72 hours - resulting in a light, airy base that’s both easy to eat and packed with flavour. Cooked in a 450°C wood-fired oven, every pizza is ready in just 90 seconds, with a perfectly crisp crust and melty, golden topping.
